The aim of the Burtonwood Association is to uphold the memory of the men, women and activities that occurred at RAF Burtonwood, Warrington, England since 1939 to the present day and to record all those achievements and preserve them for further generations.

One of the most impressive sights in the UK this year are the 888,246 ceramic poppies representing the number of British & Commonwealth troops who died in WWI. They have been purchased by the British public and displayed at the Tower of London until the end of November 2014.
